Our very own Dr. Benjamin Barankin, recognized rosacea expert, was quoted recently discussing treatment options for rosacea. The article discusses treatment options such as choosing the right cleansers, low dose antibiotics (Apprilon), isotretinoin (Epuris/Accutane), brimonidine gel (Onreltea) for redness, and topical ivermectin (Rosiver).
In this recent article, different treatments are discussed for actinic keratoses (AK) including a new 5-fluorouracil and salicylic acid combination product, ingenol mebutate, laser ablation and photodynamic therapy.
