A bacteria carried by common skin mites (in the mites’ digestive tract) may cause the redness and inflammation associated with rosacea according to a recent report in the Journal of Medical Microbiology.

In Rochester, New York, 19 people contracted a bacterial infection (Mycobacterium chelonae) believed to be as a result of tainted ink used for tattoos as published in the New England Journal of Medicine.
