Non-Steroidal Anti-inflammatory medications, especially aspirin, appear to reduce the risk of squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). There was no impact on basal cell carcinoma (BCC) in this study published in the August 2011 issue of the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology.
