New Sunscreen Labeling Rules Announced by FDA

In the U.S., new rules for labeling sunscreens will mean that sunscreens labeled “broad spectrum” will have to have at least an SPF of 15 and be shown to protect against both UVA & UVB rays. Sunscreen products that do not meet this standard will have to have a warning that they do not protect against skin cancer.
