Ambika Agrawal, MD DPD CCFP

Dr. Ambika Agrawal is a Canadian-trained physician who is registered with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. She received her Bachelor of Medical Science at the University of Alberta, where she earned several awards for academic scholarship and research. She completed her medical degree at the University of Alberta, co-authored publications and presented research focused on hypertrophic scarring, and participated in clinical training with various plastic surgeons and dermatologists. Driven by a passion for medical education, she also led multiple clinical and procedural skills workshops for her peers and incoming medical students.

Dr. Agrawal completed her family medicine residency at the University of Calgary, subsequently earning a postgraduate diploma in Practical Dermatology with Distinction from Cardiff University. Related to her interest in global health, she also completed an Enhanced Skills residency through the University of Toronto, where she gained specialized exposure to tropical and infectious diseases, worked with diverse populations, and supported medical curriculum development in Ethiopia.

At the Toronto Dermatology Centre, Dr. Agrawal’s practice focuses on skin-related disorders and aesthetic medicine, including neuromodulators (such as Botox) and the cosmetic treatment of skin lesions. She is dedicated to combining her broad clinical background to provide comprehensive and accessible dermatological care.
