Cyst vs Lipoma
Clinically, cysts appear as firm, round, flesh-coloured nodules of various sizes, often with a central punctum. The most commonly affected areas are the head and neck and trunk, but they can pretty much appear anywhere on the body.
A lipoma is a benign growth (benign tumour) made up of fat cells. It develops slowly deep under the skin in the subcutaneous tissue. Some people develop 1 lipoma, while others develop several.
