Minoxidil for hair loss, 5% vs. 2%

A recent study in the December 2011 issue of the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology showed that a 5% minoxidil foam used once daily was as effective as the 2% minoxidil lotion which requires twice a day application in promoting hair growth and increasing hair width in people with genetic patterned hair loss (androgenetic alopecia).
