Dr. Benjamin Barankin was interviewed by Pauline Chan on CTV on Nov. 16, 2012 for a story about a Toronto woman who was injected with a filler by a supposed nurse trained in another country and developed a life-threatening infection and severe disability. Dr. Barankin, having extensive training and experience injecting fillers safely and with terrific natural results, spoke about the importance of receiving your injectable treatments (e.g. Botox, Fillers like Juvederm, Restylane and Radiesse) at reputable medical clinics; he emphasized that treatments should ideally be performed by specialists such as dermatologists who are trained not only in understanding beauty, symmetry, and balance, but also safety, and very importantly anatomy.
