This past Saturday we held our annual Customer Appreciation Day at our clinic, Toronto Dermatology Centre. Each year we strive to grow our business by word of mouth, patient referrals and helping our OHIP patients on the cosmetic side of the clinic. We sent out invites this year via email, and our response was overwhelming. It was a busy day, but everyone was wearing their smiles and seemed to be in great spirits.
Reps from some of our finest lines were on hand helping patients to find just the right home care for themselves. Our rep from Jane Iredale was in constant motion matching colours and doing mineral-wear makeovers. My fellow estheticians and I were doing consults for new patients and for those we hadn’t seen in a while. It was a nice surprise to see a few of my patients that hadn’t been in to the clinic for some time, to give them a hug and chat for a bit. Michele, our office manager was busy organizing the whole extravaganza and keeping everything running smoothly.
We would also like to thank our doctors, Dr. Barankin and Dr. Freiman for being a part of the event this year and bringing in new patients to experience our clinic. As well, everyone who attended the event has a chance to win one of many amazing raffle prizes. We will be choosing the winners this week for wonderful gift baskets donated by our skin care vendors. We did the event up right with catered food, coffee, tea, Perrier and yummy deserts to top it all off.
As mentioned, our Customer Appreciation Day is not only to thank our loyal clients and patients, but also a chance for them to bring their friends in to experience our clinic, our staff and get to know our doctors and estheticians. A great clinic doesn’t have to rely on constant advertising, but should be able to grow and sustain a busy establishment though the referrals of their regular patients. I think we are achieving our goals. Every year we keep getting stronger, busier, and we are listening to our patients needs and doing our best to improve our clinic in all aspects of the business.
So, thank you again to all who were able to be in attendance this year. From our medical staff, our fabulous estheticians, our manager and our doctors, thank you for making our Customer Appreciation Day 2013 a great success. And we hope to see you at our clinic again very soon.
